Dwarf Larkspur: delphinium tricorne

This wildflower relative of the domestic delphinium grows in rocky areas of rich woodlands. It is a member of the ranunculus family. While beautiful to look at, the Dwarf Larkspur, also called Spring Larkspur, is toxic and has killed cattle that have eaten it.
