Southern Indiana Wildflower Walks

Trillium A member of the lily family, several species of trillium are found in Indiana. Tri- (Latin for three) and -lilium (Latin for lily) tells us this plant has three leaves and is a lily. This is an increasingly rare wildflower, and it is believed that one should never cut or transplant a trillium.
